Protect the Excellence
“The quality of life in our community is directly related to the quality of our schools. Academically strong schools have an incredibly positive impact on the community. Personally, I know many families with young children who would love to move into the Mounds View School District. Home values are higher, the community is safer, and neighborhoods are more stable when there is a strong school system at the core.”
- Bjorn Lundgren, Arden Hills Resident, Parent of Valentine Hills Elementary and Highview Middle School students
We protect the excellence of our schools and our communities
Excellent schools and quality neighborhoods go hand in hand. Mounds View Public Schools (District 621) has been a good neighbor to the communities and students it serves in the cities of Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, Shoreview and Vadnais Heights. As residents, we’re mighty proud of our communities and our Top 10 schools.
It’s been 18 years since the School District last asked voters to fund a bond referendum. Given the average age of our school buildings is 57 years old, it’s time to invest in infrastructure. This is who we are and what we do here: We support our kids, our communities and our schools.
Our schools and communities are among the very best in Minnesota, and voting YES this fall will help protect that tradition of excellence.
