Neighbors United Chair Jeanne Frischman
Jeanne Frischman is a life-long resident of New Brighton and an enthusiastic supporter of our Mounds View School District. She attended Bel Air Elementary, Highview Middle School and Irondale High School. Her two sons have followed in her footsteps.
As a Realtor, Jeanne sees daily the importance of our schools in strengthening property values and creating high demand for homes in our area. As an alumna and parent, Jeanne has experienced first-hand the quality education our students receive and the strong sense of community which exists among District residents. As chair of Neighbors United, Jeanne is dedicated to our mission of protecting the tradition of excellence in our schools.
Neighbors United Chairs Scott and Ruth Kauls
Ruth and Scott Kauls reside in North Oaks and have four children who have attended Snail Lake and Turtle Lake Elementary schools, Chippewa Middle School and Mounds View High School. Over the years, the Kauls have visited every school in our district and recognize the need to add space to our facilities.
Ruth served on the District’s Facilities Task Force and has personally seen the growing need for more space and improved safety and security in our schools. Ruth and Scott recognize the 2017 bond referendum as a great investment with long-term benefits for our students and, most importantly, our communities. As Scott says, “It’s time to pay it forward.”
